• Are there any short term positions, like 2 or 3 months? 
  No, not currently. But contact us if you want to be self-sponsored.
  


• Who pays for my airfare? 
  You pay here, school pays back after end of 12 month term.
  


• How much vacation do we get? 
  There are over 20 days of holidays, and a winter and spring break.  Summer holiday is not in effect unless you stay at the same school and extend for a second year.


• Can I stay in Japan and work after my term is over? 
  We request that you leave within 21 days or the expiration of the visa - whichever is first.  If you wish to stay in Japan to work somewhere else we request that you do not teach English in the same area, and that you prepare your visa to transfer to the new location as soon as your contract with Japan Union Conference is expired.  Your return trip home is guaranteed only if you actually leave Japan within the required 21 days.
